Our Expertise

Our practice excels in restoring mobility and alleviating pain, offering a wealth of experience within therapeutic management.

Steroid injections

Guided injections in physiotherapy involve the use of imaging techniques, such as ultrasound or fluoroscopy, to accurately deliver medication directly to the affected area. These injections are typically used to treat conditions like tendinitis, bursitis, or joint pain by reducing inflammation and providing targeted pain relief. The precision of guided injections ensures that the medication is administered to the exact location of injury or inflammation, which can enhance treatment effectiveness and reduce the risk of complications. This approach allows physiotherapists to support rehabilitation by managing pain and inflammation more effectively, facilitating quicker recovery and improved function for patients.

Bike Fit

Bike fit is a detailed process that involves adjusting various elements of a bicycle—such as saddle height, handlebar position, and pedal alignment—to match an individual rider’s body dimensions, flexibility, and riding style. The goal is to optimize comfort, enhance pedaling efficiency, prevent injury, and improve overall cycling performance. A proper bike fit takes into account factors like the rider’s posture, range of motion, and any existing physical issues, ensuring that the bicycle is perfectly tuned to the rider’s unique needs and goals.

Physiotherapy

Physiotherapy focuses on restoring movement and function for individuals affected by injury, illness, or surgical intervention. Additionally, it helps reduce the risk of future injuries and enhances overall performance. Our team takes pride in being market leaders by leveraging evidence-based research to guide our assessments and interventions. This commitment ensures that we deliver the highest quality care and achieve the best possible outcomes for our patients. With a personalized approach tailored to each individual’s needs, we strive to support and empower our patients throughout their recovery journey.

Diagnostic Services

Diagnostic Ultrasound is the ideal complement to our modern physiotherapy service. It enhances the accuracy of diagnoses, aids in informed decision-making, and allows for effective tracking of musculoskeletal issue progress. This advanced technology provides real-time imaging, helping to pinpoint the exact nature of injuries or conditions. Furthermore, studies have demonstrated that it is as accurate as an MRI scan, offering a reliable and efficient alternative for our patients.

Massage

Sports and remedial massage utilises specialised techniques to address muscular tension, discomfort, and injuries commonly associated with physical activity, sports, and everyday life. The core principle of sports massage is the individualised and strategic manipulation of the body’s soft tissues, including muscles and fascia, to enhance overall health and promote well-being. This approach helps in improving flexibility, reducing pain, and accelerating recovery. With our experienced therapists, you are in safe hands, ensuring a tailored treatment that meets your specific needs and promotes optimal physical health.

Respiratory Physiotherapy

Respiratory physiotherapy is a specialized area of physiotherapy focused on improving lung function and breathing efficiency. It involves techniques such as chest physiotherapy, breathing exercises, and airway clearance methods to help patients with respiratory conditions like asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), or cystic fibrosis. The goal is to clear mucus from the lungs, improve oxygen intake, and enhance overall respiratory health, thereby reducing symptoms, preventing complications, and improving the patient’s quality of life. This therapy is particularly beneficial for those recovering from surgery, pneumonia, or chronic lung conditions.

Ultrasound Imaging

At ClinicAll we offer real time ultrasound scanning or ‘Point of Care Ultrasound scanning’ (POCUS).

Diagnostic ultrasound has been proven to be as accurate as MRI scanning, most specifically for tendon injuries as well as muscle and ligament injuries. The dynamic use of ultrasound can also help identify nerve impingements, sequentially monitor tissue healing in muscle and tendon injuries assisting in the detailed management of your injury.

At ClinicAll we also use Ultrasound imaging to enhance treatments such as dry needling, shockwave therapy (ESWT) and of course Guided injections. The scan can commonly form part of your assessment and provides quick, accurate diagnosis. The starting point of any successful recovery,

Pilates

Pilates is a form of low-impact exercise that emphasizes core strength, flexibility, and overall body awareness. Developed by Joseph Pilates in the early 20th century, it combines controlled movements with focused breathing to improve posture, balance, and muscle tone. Pilates exercises can be done on a mat or using specialized equipment like reformers, and are suitable for people of all fitness levels. This practice not only enhances physical strength but also promotes mental well-being by encouraging mindfulness and concentration, making it a popular choice for both rehabilitation and general fitness.

Yoga

Yoga for physiotherapy integrates traditional yoga practices with therapeutic exercises to support physical rehabilitation and recovery. It involves a combination of gentle stretching, strengthening postures, and controlled breathing techniques tailored to the individual’s specific needs. This approach helps improve flexibility, balance, and muscle strength, while also promoting relaxation and reducing stress. By addressing both physical and mental aspects of healing, yoga can aid in the management of chronic pain, enhance mobility, and support the overall rehabilitation process. It’s particularly effective for patients recovering from injuries, surgery, or managing chronic conditions like back pain or arthritis.
