Initial assessment is 45 minutes and a normal follow up is 30mins. We do offer complex sessions for 1 hour. A Diagnostic Ultrasound appointment is 30 minutes.

We offer extended Scope Physiotherapy, this includes the ability to prescribe medication, diagnostic imaging, guided injections and high level rehabilitation in our gym. We are also supported by on house personal trainers, massage therapists and Pilates / Yoga instructors. We are evidence based, and we test and re-test our outcomes to cure, not just treat your issue.

Yes, we are covered with ALL insurers. Some insurance policies may not cover diagnostic scanning or injections – this is usually on an individual basis and dependent on your insurance company.

We will normally discuss this on a case to case basis as each injury is different. We provide a full service if needed or just advice and education – so the choice is yours but we will provide the best care possible in each session and provide transparent advice that is evidence based and objective.

Just yourself please – we have clean towels, shorts and all equipment. It’s always helpful to come appropriately dressed where possible.

Injections and Ultrasound

As a general guide, it is suggested that patients have no more than a maximum of three steroid injections into the same anatomical location within a 12-month period

Approximately 3–5 days. Steroids work differently to most over the counter pain meds having a more complex mechanism to reduce pain. Because of this they need time to take effect. Then main mechanism for reducing pain and inflammation is that they reprogram our body’s cells to stop producing inflammation and to produce our own natural anti-inflammatories.

Currently the advice is that steroid injections must not take place wihin two weeks of a vaccination. Also if you have COVID-19 we would not be able to provide a steroid injection for you.

No – we can prescribe and administer the injection with complete autonomy. We do provide a letter with all clinical and pharmaceutical information for you GP post injection.

Most people feel minmal pain post injection, however if concerned or anxious its always advised to bring a friend or family member with you for support or to drive home.

Please refer to our price list.

There are many different scenarios where steroid can be indicted, sometimes this will be for pain, but many conditions can be cured with a steroid injection. This is always paired and most successful with excellent aftercare and advice however.

No – unfortunately not, this is due to the safety of the baby and mother and lack of any evidence to suggest it would be safe.
